In case you’re wondering, the two headed eagle, which actually denotes a bastard blood line, was the family crest of the wealthy and ever so slightly dodgy (wreckers and smugglers no less) Killigrew family in whose back yard Falmouth was built a few hundred years ago ANYWAY we thought an eagle looked a little more sporty than the ploddy looking Pendennis Castle which was the other option.
