Club Meeting preceded by a talk on Electric Vehicles

Just a quick reminder – this month’s Club Meeting (26th March) will be preceded by a talk on electric vehicles (EVs) by Simon Hart who’s been owning/driving them since 2017. The format will be a short video, followed by a short talk (which will include challenges to some of the commonly held beliefs about EVs) rounded off with Q&A. So if you are considering making the change come along and take advantage of Simon’s knowledge and experience!

International Women’s Day Ride

Members of Falmouth Wheelers Cycling Club celebrated International Women’s Day by holding a mass cycle ride from Falmouth Business Park to Via Ferrata Cornwall at the Goodygrane Activity Centre, Halvasso. Remembering Don Gunner

Don Gunner (left) passed away on Tuesday the 17th of February 2026 aged 88 years. Don was one of the founder members of Falmouth Wheelers Cycle club he was known for his relaxed riding style and cheerful disposition always ready to encourage new members and enjoyed showing members how to maintain their bikes. OGIL Ride to Helston Boating Lake

The forecasts were offering an unusually dry morning with rain around lunchtime so it was surprising that only nine of the 46 OGIL WhatsApp group members turned up at ToP. Helston Boating Lake was the agreed destination, posted on the WhatsApp group so others could find us, which two others did.
