The importance of the 11 o'clock rule will become apparent as this is the time when the Beach cafe opens. The cafe has been there since WW2 but the owners and menu has changed since then. Now run by Rebecca and Jane they offer a small morning menu but with a smile and good quality and reasonably priced. The bacon bap, at £3 looked full of bacon although the baps looked pale and soft. You may like them like that. Amanda did not rate the coffee, I don’t drink the stuff.Pick your day if you want to sit outside as the wind off the river can make it a chilly experience.
