Trafalgar Way Audax

I popped up at 5.45 this morning to Pendennis Castle to see around 40 riders getting ready to set off on their 500km ride to London.  I spoke to one chap who had cycled from Truro this morning, was aiming to arrive in London well before the cut off time of 3.30pm tomorrow and was then going to ride another 200 km to Coventry.  It was mostly men riding though there were a couple of women all of who were very cheerful as they set of just after 6.00am.  I happily left them to it and went home to have a cup of tea.  Well done to all of them.  I’ll email the organiser in a couple of days to see how they all got on.
