For those of you not at the meeting on Thursday - I hold the stock of Croyde maps: West and East Cornwall. Accurate and well printed on virtually waterproof and bombproof paper! very reasonable at just ยฃ1,50 each.

Good News! Today it became official - a stage of the Tour of Britain is definitely coming to Cornwall in September 2020. Described as 'the biggest sporting event ever to be held in Cornwall', the race will be starting in Penzance and finishing in Bodmin, with the exact route as yet undecided. It's expected to bring thousands of visitors and lots of revenue to the county. Dave Potter, who came to speak to us in January, was interviewed on Radio Cornwall following the announcement.
Yes, thanks Ian, it was a great day out despite the showers early on - but we never regret going!! ( It was The Blue Anchor Chris - not the Star!)
Well done Vanessa, a truly brave effort - and Clare too, hopefully feeling happier about cycling in France very soon.
Apologies to all for my occasional rants. I won't mention the B word on these pages. Fortunately something else distracted me this morning - please visit the Forum - maybe even give your own opinion - it's what it's there for!
Great Pathfinder yesterday - spectactular views, excellent refreshment stops and exhilarating weather! Thank you Ian for organising.
A big thank you to all those Wheelers who spurred me on to complete today's Pathfinders ride. I wouldn't have made it if it hadn't been for your patience and encouragement. Many thanks.
Vanessa

Thanks you to the Wheelers for the lovely bunch of flowers sent to Hilary. They were very much appreciated.

Mr Garmin would like to thank the M&Ms for the addition of a host of new roads to his ever expanding memory during Sundayโs Pathfinder.
Many thanks to Martin and Margaret for organising a great ride in loverly weather
It's your lucky day Richard as I'm also riding the 100!
I've entered the 100. Dont know if I'm in yet or no as I'm in London at the moment so cant check the post.
I have created a post in the forum for the ride London if you want to comment there.
Any other Wheelers entering the Ride London events? I am in for the 100. R753]
Just to alert anyone who hasn't heard already that were heading off to Devon on the 16/17th Feb for a weekend ride. The details are on the home page under "Join us for a Weekend Away" ( just scroll down the ride reports ). We'll be staying at the Duke of York in Iddesleigh for two nights and leading a short pathfinder type ride on the Sunday at around 10:30 (not to be confused with Martins Pathfinder proper the following week!) so you could always drive up on the Sunday.
For more details text or WhatsApp me 07769565796.
