The Pathfinder ride starts in Camelford, Church Street car park (free) PL32 9TB. What3words – howler.cools.coveted We’ll leave at 10am prompt so arrive in plenty of time. The route is about 25 miles with a lunch stop at about 19 miles into the ride.

The tour is providing daily surprizes, its like reading a thriller not knowing whats going to happen next. Then there is a young Spanish lad shaking the old guard at Wimbeldon, what next. The idea behind the Big Breakfast Ride is to get a cross section of the club riding together and sitting down for a sociable breakfast. The British Cycling Road Race Championships were held at the end of last month, Fred Wright winning the men’s and Pfeiffer Georgi winnng the women’s race. There were other categories including the men’s and women’s under 23 races then, this last weekend, the Masters Championship with age categories for both men and women held in Bridestowe Devon.
