OGILs make a splash

OGIL ride report 4th January 2023 It started out as a normal OGIL Wednesday morning. There were ten of us at ToP, including new recruit Simon (henceforth to be known as Simon2, for obvious reasons) aboard his massive (compared with our road bikes) eMTB. Without any debate that I can remember, our illustrious leader announced our destination as the Helston boating lake, and we set off on a circuitous route to make sure we got the minimum mileage in before […] Read More

As eleven of us set off several riders had entered into the festive spirit festooning their machines with tinsel and sparkling lights and […] Read More

OGIL Ride 29 Nov 22

After a month of mud and soggy longs on wet saddles, at last the sun came out and the skies were blue again. The OGILs were chattering away on WhatsApp that it was Colin’s birthday so with the prospect of a nice day and some free coffees there was a good turnout at The Other Place. 12 in fact. Dean the Younger had already set off up Halvasso. Did he think the OGILs would not be riding far enough today? […] Read More

The Milky Bar Kids go for a Ride

I joined in with those going to the Milk Bar at Mullion along with Amanda, Phil4, Ian, Golf Club Trevor and Ben. As some of us had been out that way on the last OGIL ride it was decided to reverse our […] Read More
