It’s become a regular thing – making the long ride, well, a long ride! First we rode to Lostwithiel and, via the Bodinnick ferry, returned through Fowey and Charlestown. Then the following week, via Tresillian and the small and very quiet lanes around St Michael Penkevil and Ruan Lanihorne we rode to St Mawes. Many thanks to all who marched with the Carnival on Saturday. I thought we looked splendid in Club Kit especially the youngsters. I think we collected a good amount in the buckets for all of the Charities.
When I heard that Boardmasters had been cancelled because of an extreme weather report I had secretly hoped that the Falmouth Carnival Organisers might have taken note.
