It was a cold clear morning with a brisk easterly breeze. Two groups formed at HQ; Trevor’s group heading for Porthleven the other to Portreath. The usual OGIL route was followed to Carmenellis, Baripper, Coombe, then a push into head winds along north cliffs. The Alantic cafe was bulging at the seams – why I don’t know; a long wait ensued – 2 hours in fact. Oh well it was warm. Robin and Ben left before the rest of us, leaving Teressa, Amanda, Ian, Trevor2, Colin, Danny, Dave, Phil1, Don, Phil4, oh yes and myself.
A pleasent ride, discussions at our table involved Garmins, eco houses, and weather extremes. Never regret going.
