The British Cycling Road Race Championships were held at the end of last month, Fred Wright winning the men’s and Pfeiffer Georgi winnng the women’s race. There were other categories including the men’s and women’s under 23 races then, this last weekend, the Masters Championship with age categories for both men and women held in Bridestowe Devon. There was a low turn-out at HQ today, as many of the Wheelers were taking part in one of the Armed Forces Cycling Challenges – 100k on a square shaped route from Pendennis castle, or a 25m on/off road event.
